announced the appointment of Richard Nickel as ACSF’s president and chief
executive officer and a member of the Board of Directors effective Nov. 26.
Nickel brings more than two decades of sales, communications and leadership experience
to his new role at ACSF.
“Richard is no stranger to the nonprofit
world,” said Vince Roig, Chairman of the Board for ACSF. “His work in both that
sector and in higher education has made him keenly aware of the importance of
nurturing young people and providing educational opportunities. His leadership
and business experience will be a tremendous asset to Arizona College

and fulfill my passion of helping students prepare for and succeed in achieving
their post-secondary education dreams. As
Arizona continues to grow, it is vital that we foster college and career
readiness among all students, and provide the skilled workforce necessary to
fill the increasing demand for highly skilled workers in our ever-changing
